  • email sign up forms, or

If you plan to make any money with your website, chances are you’re collecting information and NEED a Privacy Policy to help protect yourself from lawsuits and legal liability.

Terms & Conditions:

Terms and conditions are your set of rules of people using your site and products.

It’s letting them know what is and isn’t allowed by anyone visiting, using or purchasing from your website. It can also incorporate your privacy policy (or it can be it's own page).

It’s important to limit your liability for any errors or inaccuracies on your website and explain your refund policies, intellectual property rights, and your ability to terminate use of your website for any abuses at your own discretion.

It also outlines what jurisdiction applies and what will happen if there is a dispute.

Disclaimers

Disclaimers are important because they limit your liability on the content you create. They are basically your "I told you so" if someone comes at you for example, presenting information without being an expert.

It lets your readers know that the information you provide is for informational and educational purposes only and that you cannot guarantee they will have the same results.

Disclaimers are especially important for coaches and entrepreneurs who offer services and use testimonials or case studies.

Other important disclaimers that bloggers must include a disclosure about affiliate links used, this is required by the FTC, and failure to do so can not only get you kicked out of affiliate programs but also result in the loss of your earnings.

Who am I?

Hi I’m Liz and I’m obsessed with helping online bloggers and business owners earn more money and keep it legal!

I’ve been an attorney for over 6 years and I started my first website a few years ago and quickly realized that there were tons of legal issues bloggers and online business owners faced and that many bloggers and business owners had no clue that they were putting their business at risk

I started speaking at conferences and virtual summits about the legal issues facing online business owners, and finally took the time to create legal templates that the average new blogger or business owner could actually afford.

Because protecting your business should be something that is accessible to everyone.

I’m excited to see you taking action to protect your website and business!
